I'm gonna lose it, we have officially began virus number 7 in 7 weeks! WHY ME? I have cooked nothing but veggies and fruits and healthy foods and here we are sick yet again. I feel so angry. This sucks!!! Just sayin'. We at least got a 6 day break between viruses this time, but really we homeschool and hardly go anywhere, how could we get so sick so often?

OH girl i feel ya.We have been sick magnets for the last 3 months.I mean NON stop one of us have been sick.Do you take a multivitamin? maybe that could help,I started giving my girls them and we have been well for 2 weeks.Cant say for sure thats why they got better but it cant do anything but help right:)

One winter we were sick a lot. I looked into what would be causing the sickness. Our Ped's told us to keep the house cooler, rather than warm like I was. Apparently, I was breeding our sickness bugs. We haven't ever had a problem. Since you have been home bound lately, that could just be causing everything to be clogged up in the house.

if you are interested, check out the weston price foundation. we have been eating a tradtional diet now for about three years and feel great. this winter has been our healthiest ever (knock on wood)! three things that have really improved our health are cod liver oil (check out radiantlifecatalog.org we buy the fermented cod liver/butter oil blend), next raw milk and lucky for you it is legal in ca! and lastly bone broths. i make a homemade chicken stock every week and cook with it- packed full of vitamins and minerals and gelatin which is essential to the gut and healthy gut means healthy you! oh, and one more big one- as many fermented foods as you can down, full fat yogurt, kefir, fermented veggies like homemade kimchi and sauerkraut and i like to buy synergy brand kombucha (a fermented chinese tea). i know this is a lot of info for one comment, but food is my passion! i get very excited about it as you can see. well wishes to you and your family!

I don't know what to say. I feel ya! My hubby is gonna lose his job if he doesn't start showing his face around the office more! He has had to work from home (fortunately he can sometimes)for at least two days a week for a month, and then he went and pulled a muscle in his back! I was like, enough already! Best wishes, and keep doing what you're doing. It's just going around.
