Can I just say.....

BEST thing since sliced bread! Yes, they work and they work so well. This is the BEST book I've ever read on chores and it does take a bit to get through it all and it takes even more effort to make your master chore list and go down and divy out all the chores to yourself, hubby and kids, but in the end, its so effective and its makes for smoooooth, cleaaaaaaaan days ahead. The up-front work has transformed our lives. Now, there is virtually no work for me. It took away all the headaches of chores. I am one happy mama. You can order it directly from here http://www.titus2.com/ecommerce/products/prod_listing.php/1150. It comes with enough stuff to do 4 chore packs, but I went to staples for 8 bucks and bought another large pack of more so that each child has a saturday only chorepack as well as a daily chorepack. This Christ-based chore system is truly amazing, I found out about it while reading the Duggars book.

Introducing.......JESSE LEVI!!!!!!

Side view of his body, arm, leg tummy and HIS PARTS!
Booty, 2 legs and front and center is the money shot!!! WOOHOOO, I prayed for a boy
Side profile of his whole body and yes his boy part again, I tell you there was no way to not know he was a boy.
His boy part again!! along with booty and legs

We are so incredibly excited! We had a boy name ready to go because we were really wanting and ready for another baby boy. Tanner will be almost 6 when Jessie Levi arrives so we are ready to cuddle a little rough and tumble boy. I feel so blessed. The best news of all though, he looks very healthy. The Nuchal Translucency Test came out perfect! His chances for Downs and other conditions came back low so we opted out of the amnio. Even had they come back high, I wouldn't risk a miscarriage for an amnio. He did measure about 1 week ahead, however, not far enough to change the due date, but confirmed my suspicions about being a little further. Anyhow, I am off to bed, but I had to hop on and share the great news.

Working on getting the black out.

Two different angles of my mothers day gift....lighter hair! I am so over the black. I actually like the black, but just tired of it after 1.5 years. I am actually going to work on a slow process of going to a dark blonde, but I want to do it slowly and not end up with a chemical haircut. As it was, I lost several inches getting it this light and I wanted to cry. I do not want short hair. I am happy with the outcome for now though. It looks very naturalish.

Movement

You know, I find it crazy to believe I could really be only 12 weeks, 3 days today. I am feeling definite movement as well as being able to tell which side the baby is laying in my tummy. Its easily felt as a hard lump on one side or the other way low in my belly. I have felt movement at 13 weeks with 2 of my kids, but never this soon. I will get the definitive answer about how far along I am on Wednesday and hopefully find out the gender that day as well. I have to believe I really am further along. I am also starting to show earlier than I normally do, which could just be because I am getting old and its my 7th baby. Lastly, I am happy to report that morning sickies are easing up already(which is also VERY unlike me). I normally puke for about 14 weeks or more. So I guess Wednesday will tell all.

MaddiMae's First Birthday

My baby officially turned 1 on March 25th, 2010. I made her a Cabbage Patch cake because she reminds me of a little cabbage patch doll hehe. She is such a beautiful, sweet little baby and I feel so lucky I was entrusted to be her mama. God is gracious!
