Can I just say.....

BEST thing since sliced bread! Yes, they work and they work so well. This is the BEST book I've ever read on chores and it does take a bit to get through it all and it takes even more effort to make your master chore list and go down and divy out all the chores to yourself, hubby and kids, but in the end, its so effective and its makes for smoooooth, cleaaaaaaaan days ahead. The up-front work has transformed our lives. Now, there is virtually no work for me. It took away all the headaches of chores. I am one happy mama. You can order it directly from here http://www.titus2.com/ecommerce/products/prod_listing.php/1150. It comes with enough stuff to do 4 chore packs, but I went to staples for 8 bucks and bought another large pack of more so that each child has a saturday only chorepack as well as a daily chorepack. This Christ-based chore system is truly amazing, I found out about it while reading the Duggars book.

I have a strange question for you. Is that book/packet system something you can take a picture of?

I have been looking at it for a while but I am a visual person and want to 'see' it before I purchase it.

I have 4 kids and, while I don't mind doing most of the chores, they are all old enough to help!

Thank you!! :)

Since I have so many people asking more about it, its basically a book that gives the entire biblical background reasoning for giving chores, they talk about reasonable tasks for certain ages, including preschoolers. They then help you make a master chores list and work off that to delegate jobs into "chorepacks" which are clip on badges with cards that contain each of their jobs on them. As they do each chore, they flip to the next card and place the done one in the back. When they are done, you MUST check the jobs. They have a daily chore pack each and a saturday chorepack with all the extra heavy duty cleaning to be done saturdays

ahh...very cool! I think I've seen the Duggar's use those for chores and homeschooling. I had seen it, I just didn't know what it was.

THANK YOU for your explanation. :)
